NEC SL1000: VRS Upload / Download

http://www.fileserve.com/file/E72rXPt/SL1000 VRS Upload Download.pdf

For NEC SL1000 it comes with a user-friendly interface for the installer to upload/download the VRS messages (prompts). As you might have already know, the CF card used for NEC SL1000 cannot be viewed using a standard Windows-OS. Whereas for the previous models (Aspila EX / Aspila Topaz), you can simply view the files inside the CF card using Windows-OS.

Using the WebPro interface (login name: user1  password: 1111) you can perform upload / download of VRS messages. And one thing very nice is that you can use the VRS message for the MOH which your customer can choose (bear in mind that the music file is owned by the customer, corporate music. Copyright infringement issues).

NEC SL1000: Desktop Suite (Softphone for SL1000)

Well the NEC SL1000 now support Desktop Application Suite. This software package gives the user the ability to use softphone which is very useful for traveller, mobile warrrior.

One nice integration between this softphone is the use of NEC USB handset UTR-1W, which gives an seamless user experience. There is no need to press soft button to answer nor make calls, you can simply lift up the handset when the phone rings. To make calls simply lift up the handset dial the numbers you require in the keypad. This is a very nice feature which i personally feel is good.
