In this slide it talks about some of the useful features for NEC SL1000, features like Remote Conference, Mobile Extension (ME), Mobile Extension (ME) - Callback to Phone, Ecology;

• Remote Conference - For NEC SL1000 this feature is very useful for the enterprise users because it allows both internal/external parties (up to 16 parties conference) to come together in a common voice conference circuit for discussion without the need to incur expensive 3rd-party conference bridge toll usage. This feature allows the office pbx administrator to change the conference password so that no unauthorized personnel can snoop in and listen to the conference call. It is a cheap alternative to expensive conference bridge (reservation-based) solution although it is termed as a reservation-less conference solution.

• Mobile Extension (Callback to Phone) - This feature is very interesting and useful for mobile warriors (aka sales, mobile workers) to save some cost on their mobile airtime. Basically it is a ME feature whereby the ME users will call back to their own DDI number and hang up. And then the NEC SL1000 Smart Communication Server will dial out and call this ME user, therefore saving the mobile airtime of the ME users (nowadays most of the mobile operators practise free incoming airtime for the mobile users). 
• Ecology - Being termed as a energy-saving and power efficient system, the NEC SL1000 system allows the system to be switch off during non-office hours based on day/night mode, each individual cards can be defined to be turned on/off during certain mode as per defined in the system setup except for the main chassis [main board].
