How to output SMDR information for SL1000 to 3rd-party call accounting software

To connect to 3rd-party call accounting software (call billing purposes), the SL1000 need to output SMDR (station message details record) details to the application for data records and for reports generation.

This is where the difference between SL1000 and Aspila Topaz comes about.

For Aspila Topaz it is possible to output the SMDR information via IP or serial methods, while for SL1000 (sames goes for SV8100) the only output method is IP.

Below is the information on the setup;

Ok here are the items you need to do to get the SMDR output from SL1000  CPU;

            At SL1000
PROG 10-12-01/02: confirm your IP address given for the CPU
PROG 35-01-01: Output Port Type (select: LAN)
PROG 10-20-05: SMDR Output (input: 60010)
PROG 14-01-06: SMDR Print-Out (checked)
Repeat for all the trunks necessary
Reboot SL1000

At PC (using Hyperterminal)
Select Connection Type: TCP/IP
Input ip address of the SL1000 CPU, port number: 60010

Testing
Just pick up the handset, press ‘9’ to seizure trunk and input digits
The Hyperterminal screen will show the details after the call has been completed
